في ذكرى مولد الامام الرضا (ع)، أقام نادي مركز المعرفة الاسلامية للخطابة مسابقة خطابية تحت عنوان (القصص القرآنية) و ذلك مساء الجمعة 7 نوفمبر، ليبدأ أولى فعاليات المركز بعد انتقاله الى المقر الجديد الكائن بمنطقة الزنج.

المسابقة الخطابية و التي شارك فيها 7 متسابقين من عدد من نوادي الخطابة المختلفة في المملكة، أقيمت تحت شعار (القصص القرآنية) حيث قام المتسابقون برواية قصص مختلفة من القرآن الكريم منها قصص أنبياء الله يوسف و يونس و سليمان عليهم السلام، اضافة الى قصة هابيل و قابيل، و الخضر (ع)، و أصحاب الكهف، و تصدق أهل البيت (ع) على المسكين و اليتيم و الأسير حيث نزلت الآيات القرانية لتقص على البشرية هذه القصص الناصعة و المليئة بالحكم و المواعظ.

ابتدأ الحفل بآيات من القران الكريم تلاها المقرئ حسن محمد لتبتدأ بعدها المسابقة و التي شارك في تقييمها عدد من الحكام المتخصصين و الذي لهم باع طويل في فنون الخطابة، ليقيموا أداء كل متسابق على حدة وفقا للمعايير الدولية للخطابة. و تلا ذلك كلمة للسيد عبدالرضا الموسوي تطرق فيها الى قبس من حياة الامام الرضا (ع) مبينا أهمية التمسك بنهج أهل البيت (ع) و الاهتمام بسيرهم الشريفة حيث لا بد من الحرص على تثقيف الأجيال و اطلاعهم على قصص الأنبياء و الأئمة (ع) و ذلك في زمن غلبت فيه آثار الغزو الثقافي على معالمه. أما المسابقة الثقافية فقد قدمتها الأخت آلاء حبيب حيث قدمت الجوائز للفائزين و الحضور

و في الختام أعلنت نتائج المسابقة و قام دومسعود جهرمي رئيس مجلس الادارة بتقديم الهدايا التذكارية لهم اضافة الى تكريم طاقم التحكيم و المساهمين في نجا هذا العمل. و قد جاء في المركز الأول الحاج محمد علي بقصة نبي الله يوسف (ع)، و المركز الثاني كان من نصيب الحاج جواد هيات بقصة نبي الله يونس (ع)، أما المركز الثالث كان من نصيب الأخ علي شاهباز بقصة نبي الله سليمان (ع)

Celebrating the birth anniversary of the Imam Ali Ibn Moosa Al-Reza(A.S), IAC Toastmasters Club organized the "Quranic Story Telling Contest" on Friday the 7th of November, which was the first public activity for the centre in its new premises in Zenj.

Seven spectacular speakers blessed the place and the hearts of the attendees with seven glorious stories from the Holy Quran. The stories included: Prophet Joseph, Prophet Jonah, Prophet Solomon, Abel and Cane, Khudor, the Cave and the story of Prophet Mohammad's household. These full of wisdom and meaning stories were bright lessons and gifts given by the holy Quran to the humanity.

Brother Hassan Mohd commenced the session by reciting verses from the Holy Quran. Then Ahmed Shukri, the contest chairman, started and conducted the contest, which was passionately observed and enjoyed by the audience, and judged by a team of competent judges.

After the contest, brother S.A.Reza Al-Mosawi delivered a short presentation in which he gave quick glance on Imam Reza's life emphasizing on the importance of educating our generations about the glory and greatness of our great prophets and leaders, especially in an era where cultural invasion is presenting the wrong role models.

Sister Alaa Habib followed with a vibrant quiz session, revolving around the life of Imam Reza (A.S), where she gave members from the audience lovely gifts in exchange of their answers.

In the end, brother Ahmed Shukri announced the results of the contest. Dr. Masud Jahromi, the Chairman of the Centre presented appreciation gifts and awards to the individuals who worked and contributed to make this event a success starting from the judges, the MC and to all contestants for their long preparation and wonderful participation. Then he presented the prizes to the first 3 places: Mohd Ali, Jawad Hayat and Ali Shahbaz.
